Thebes Early 22nd Dynasty ca. 930 BCE

Djedptahjuefanch was a third
Prophet of Amun-Ra and bore the
title "King's Son of Ramesses". He
lived at the end of the 21a Theban
Dynasty and the beginning of the
22nd "Libyan" Dynasty. He was
buried   in Year 11 of the Tanite King
Scheschonq I (934 BCE). His well
preserved mummy shows an
attractive man in his mid-30s. His
relationship with the High-Priests'
family of the
21a Dynasty is a matter
of  discussion.

Detail of poor workmanship
shown on this primitively made
object. In strong contrast to this
is  the inscription, written in an
elegant hand.
