In the egyptological literature it is often stated
that Djedptahjuefanch was the husband of
Nesytanebetisheru. There is no evidence to
support this view and it is most unlikely by
reason of the ages shown by the mummies.
He died in the 11th year of Sheshonq I and
under the pontificate of HPA Iupet, 2nd son of
Sheshonq. The remains of his burial were found
in the Royal Cache TT320 in 1881. His original
place of burial is not known.
