Here and on the following pages you will find facsimiles of the
text pertaining to TT320 in the  original publication. On the
right-hand side of each page you will find notes and
corrections, bringing the material up to the state of our present
knowledge (2006), following our re-excavation, survey and
scientific analysis of the cachette. You can click on any
underlined position in the commentary to access the specific
data to which it is connected.

Our TT320 project does not end with the excavation results.
Our research has shown that there is need for a great deal of
scientific examination and new assessment of the finds from
the tomb, including those reported on here by Maspero in the
early days of egyptology.

The greatest problem facing us is a result of Brugsch's
catastrophic, undocumented "rescue" operation during which
some 6000 artifacts were removed from the tomb in two days.
Due to the lack of any sort of methodology, in what was actually
a mass plundering, we only know the original location in the
tomb of very few objects. We will certainly never know the
order in which the artifacts were deposited, nor their relative
positions to other finds. Thus, a completely accurate history of
the 21a Dynasty can never be written.
