Early 18th Dynasty, Thebes: the actual colour when examined by Smith in 1912 was black.
The mummy was unrolled by Maspero in Cairo in December 1882 (vide
Maspero p. 543 scroll down). He
reports a docket in hieratic (p.544 at top): the name of the
royal daughter, royal sister, royal wife Henttimehu
