Plate LXXXI
HPA Paynedjem II (pAynDm) 993/92-970/69, "Pinodjem" and other transcriptions, was the
second (?) son of HPA & King Mencheperraw and Isetemcheb C, daughter of the Tanite
king, Psusennes I. Paynedjem became HPA after the short (ca.997/96-993/92) pontificate
of Smendes II, a shadowy figure who appears to have been an elder brother.
